FAITHLESS Sweden 2000 (15) - 155 minutes Ipswich Film Theatre - 26 November 2001- 7.30pm An elderly film director writing a screenplay creates a tale of marital infidelity which comes to life before his eyes. The actual screenplay, written by Ingmar Bergman, is autobiographical and therefore painfully self-critical. This unusually intense film is directed by Bergman's colleague and former partner, Liv Ullman.
