Hearing-impaired Carla (Emmanuelle Devos), taken for granted by friends and colleagues alike, finds a new and exciting life when she employs Paul (Vincent Cassel), a young man on parole, as her assistant. Sharing their special skills (lip-reading and thuggery) they become the unlikely heroes in this thriller.
