Miles and Jack, ill-sorted companions, set off on a tour of Californian vineyards where they encounter two likely ladies as well as some great wine. Alexander Payne, director of About Schmidt, again focuses an amused eye on some quirky aspects of America which Holywood ignores.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS:
A buddy movie that turned into a love story;
A charming bittersweet movie. Very well done;
I do like a happy ending, especially when I am not sure it is going to be;
However did Jack and Miles get beyond playschool;
Study of total irresponsibility but good contrast with his friend's character.
