A Buenos Aires court employee resolves to solve a murder committed thirty years previously. This is no routine mystery thriller but a striking blend of noir and comedy elements, with fine technical and acting credentials. Campanella directs with 'powerful control over characters, spaces and silences'.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS: A bit confusing to begin with but what an ending; Great chase scene in the football stadium; Gripping and atmospheric. Difficult to follow. The dialogue as subtitles was too fast; An entertaining thriller with strong performances, the final mist providing a climatic ending despite the slightly unnecessary and unconvincing romantic sub-plot; The platitudes were almost as poor as the feeble Hispanic attempts at humour.
