Ipswich Film Theatre - 26 November 2012 - 7.30pm This comedy drama tells the story of the relationship between a restaurateur-bookmaker in New York City’s Tribeca neighbourhood and his son, the restaurant’s star chef. It concerns converging pressures from the son and his gambling sous-chef, a visiting food critic and organised crime. AUDIENCE COMMENTS: Excellent! Witty, multi layered film. Full of likeable characters; Knew I should have stayed at home and watched Master Chef; Sloppy, sloppy film making. 98 minutes of my life wasted; Got better as the night wore on; Why were the heads cut off all the time by the camera frame? A happy ending – phew!
