2012/13 Season
MIDNIGHT IN PARIS
Spain/USA 2011 (12A) Ipswich Film Theatre -
14 January 2013
- 7.30pm
Romantic comedy which follows a man who is forced to confront the shortcomings of his relationship with his
fiancée and their divergent goals; these become increasingly exaggerated as he travels back in time to the city, starting each night at midnight.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS:
Amazing concept carried off with such panache;
Vintage Woody – good to have him back;
This year’s Oscar for appearing as Woody Allen in a Woody Allen film goes to Owen Wilson. Haven’t seen an Allen film for years but enjoyed this one. I see he’s in love with Paris rather than New York now;
Much better than I was expecting;
Tosh, but engaging tosh and quite funny in parts.
