Ipswich Film Theatre - 3 June 2013 - 7.30pm A more revue-like follow-up to the popular Mid-August Lunch, this too features the director more or less playing himself and the same actress as his demanding mama. Gianni looks on ruefully as life takes him ever further from soft, young female flesh, even if he at times comes tantalisingly close. AUDIENCE COMMENTS: I laughed – and laughed so much. What a joy; A feel good film to end a great year of Ipswich Film Theatre; Rather a sad film I thought; Very slow moving but poignant.
