Classe Tous Risques (1960) Classe Tous Risques (1960) Classe Tous Risques (1960)

2014/15 Season

CLASSE TOUS RISQUES

France 1960 (12)
110 minutes

Directed by Claude Sautet

Ipswich Film Theatre - 20 April 2015 - 7.30pm

This neglected policier from the combined pens of real-life con, Jose Giovanni, and the writer-director of Un Coeur en Hiver was for years overshadowed by the films of Melville and the Nouvelle Vague. Lino Ventura is the criminal returning to Paris to evade the Italian police.

AUDIENCE COMMENTS: Gripping. Great 60s cinema. No messing about. Straight to the point; Jean-Paul Belmondo was cool! Strong cast. Menton, Nice and Paris lovely. Great score. Enjoyed this; Good story – well told. Maybe black and white works better for such films. It hardly seems dated at all; Smoking by petrol pumps – Health & Safety; Cool dudes, cool cars, but that was about it.
