2014/15 Season
OH BOY
Germany 2012 (No Cert) Ipswich Film Theatre -
1 December 2014
- 7.30pm
Also known as A Coffee in Berlin, but not given a release in the UK, this Berliner’s After Hours sees a student drop out of college and wander the capital, making contact with its denizens but unable to get a cup of coffee! A quirky comedy about the search for identity of the new Germany’s twentysomethings. The presentation begins with the short film But Milk is Important.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS:
That’s the sort of film I expect to see at a film society;
I’m glad he got a coffee and possibly a new beginning;
A genuine German gem. Good to see modern Germany is not that vibrant successful society we’re told it is;
The performance of the old chap at the end lifted the whole film;
Growing up and not happy.
