Amelia and Sam are bereaved mother and son, struggling with life and each other. Sam, already preoccupied with one monster, asks his mother to read about another one at bedtime. But this time it’s different – and not only for Amelia and Sam … The presentation begins with the short film Keeping Up with the Joneses.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS: Brilliant. I’ve never been so scared. A whisky when I get home; Thrilling ghost story. Strong cast. The son was really cute; Harrowing, tense and spine chilling. At times brilliant performances, at times ridiculous; With all that screaming, why didn’t someone call for the Police? Scary to start but became progressively sillier; Descended into realms of ridiculous far-fetchedness. A shame the accomplished actors had to waste their time – and mine.
