Brought up by his widowed mother, his father killed in the Great War, young Albert Dehousse dreams of becoming a hero. Come the occupation, an opportunity at last might seem to present itself, but his route to heroism will be far more discreet.
AUDIENCE COMMENTS: Completely engrossing and amusing from start to finish; An unexpected gem – glad to have caught up with it. Surprised it’s not better known; Strong cast – imposters rock; I just don’t relate to French attempts at comedy; As the French say: Bizarre!
