2017/18 Season
COLD IN JULY
US/France 2014 (15) Ipswich Film Theatre -
23 April 2018
- 7.30pm
One night an intruder is caught and shot dead. The homeowner was protecting his wife and family – but he cannot imagine what is to follow… A good thriller with plenty of twists. Sam Shepard and Don Johnson still know how to keep us watching. The presentation begins with the short film Darkroom (2016).
AUDIENCE COMMENTS:
Glorious nonsense with some great photography;
I’m sure his ear would have bled a lot more than that;
Too much violence but suspenseful;
Even worse than the awful description of the film;
Unsatisfactory. Far too violent for me.
