An astounding documentary, like every masterpiece in the form this melds the personal and purely contingent with the universal. A 13 year-old nomad could become the first girl in 12 generations of her family to be trained to chase down the animals that in turn provide food and fur for the community. Prepare to be amazed. The presentation begins with the short film The Devil’s Ballroom (2012).
