Ipswich Film Theatre - 11 March 2019 - 7.30pm Wim Wenders’ comment on the fall of the Berlin Wall was to make a piece of whimsy after Capra and De Sica: two angels contemplate humanity, and one of them comes down to earth and falls in love with a trapeze artist. Peter Falk appears as himself, occasioning further delights. AUDIENCE COMMENTS: This one made the season. More interesting films like this please; Atmospheric. Some great shots. Excellent print; It was slow but interesting and eventually came to life; Slept through most of it, thank goodness; Too long, tedious. Please give us a better selection next year.
