King Street Cinema - 21 March 2022 - 7.30pm This soft-centred period piece was originally titled My Salinger Year, you know, after the author of The Catcher in the Rye? It concerns a graduate student who goes to work for the author's literary agent and finds her "voice" while answering his very personal fan mail. This is a nostalgic recreation of office life in the 50s, with Margaret Qualley and Sigourney Weaver sparring beautifully.
