King Street Cinema - 4 March 2024 - 7.30pm Patrick Hamilton's play of intellectual pride concerns two Manhattan aesthetes who conspire to commit the perfect murder. Strangling an old prep school chum, they conceal the body in a trunk which serves as buffet when they invite the dead man's loved ones for cocktails. Will they get away with the crime and, more importantly, will James Stewart, their Nietzsche spouting housemaster, approve?
