King Street Cinema - 20 November 2023 - 7.30pm The middle film of Kieslowski's trilogy, subtitled "egalite", is the story of a Polish man who is divorced by his beautiful French wife, and who vows to get "even". Once again, the director's humanism transcends the genre trappings of this so-called anti-comedy to bring us a profound study of human behaviour in crisis.
